Empower Nigeria

Empower Nigeria is an initiative designed to create a million new jobs in the private sector of Nigeria’s economy in the next three to five years. It is a bold and audacious effort by any private sector enterprise, and according to the World Bank it may be the most ambitious attempt in Africa yet by any private sector and non-Government institution. The Jobs creation focus of the EMPOWER NIGERIA initiative will be exclusively built on the backs of Entrepreneurs, so the only opportunities considered from large corporations will be opportunities that provide supply chains penetration, vendor contracting and so on. EMPOWER NIGERIA will also have partners which already include Heritage Bank, Diamond Bank and NEST Oil Group, and these partners will have unique access to the EMPOWER NIGERIA network of entrepreneurs for the supply of goods and services and vice versa. Business Opportunities made available to our EMPOWER NIGERIA network members will be displayed at our physical show rooms which will be opened up all over the country, the first one is at Oshodi Lagos, Arena MEGA Mall, and for those who cannot travel to our show room, a virtual show room will be available for you at www.empowernigeria.com.

In addition after the launch of the initiative, EMPOWER NIGERIA will take its message on the road recruiting and swelling the ranks of our army of entrepreneurs in a conference series called the EMPOWER NIGERIA ROAD SHOW. Our road shows will visit Nigerian Youths in the heart land of Nigerian society as far as Uyo, Calabar and Ikotekpene, to Sokoto, Kano and Katsina, as well as closer to Lagos such as Ibadan, Abeokuta, and Benin. Not forgetting Enugu, Owerri, Aba, Onitsha and Nnewi the heartbeat of individual enterprise in Nigeria.
